What a great day we had on Sunday for our Splash of Spring! 🌸

It was so lovely to see everyone out enjoying themselves. We had an amazing time with bubbles with KatKraft UK drumming with Joodoo Drums, football with Elite Defence Academy, crafts and balloon modelling with Olga, and slime making with Lisa.

There were also fantastic dance workshops as part of the build-up to the Gravesham Fringe Festival launch – such a great atmosphere all round!

A huge thank you to Ebbsfleet Garden City Trust for funding this fantastic day, and to Asda and Morrisons for the sweet prize donations for our Easter Trail. 🐣

Join us as part of Weldon Heart’s Launch Day celebrations for a hands-on, creative ice cream workshop!
Get ready to dream up the weirdest, wildest, most wonderful ice cream flavours you can imagine. Think you’ve tried every flavour? Think again… 👀

Or bring your own ideas and ingredients to experiment with! Our chef will be bringing some strange ingredients to add to the base vanilla ice cream that she will guide you on making. 👩‍🍳

CALLING OUR COMMUNITY! 🌟
We’re creating a powerful new mass movement performance celebrating our local history — and we want YOU to be part of it! 💃🕺

The Cultural Forum in Ebbsfleet and surrounding areas have been awarded the Launch Commission to the Gravesham Fringe Festival, working with local choreographer, Josie Parker, to create something truly impactful and spectacular! 🤩

This piece is based on the Industrial Revolution and the important part this area has played in the transportation sector, from ship building to railways! It highlights the impact this era had on changing the country and the communities within it. We’re working with 4 professional dancers, two local dance schools and a community cast (THAT’S YOU!)

No dance experience needed — all ages and abilities are welcome. This is about coming together to create an archival piece right here in our community.
