Did you know...

75 years ago today Hopehill Scout Campsite officially opened

And tomorrow marking the first day campers came to stay at the site.

Check out the programme from the day 75 years ago 🎉🥳🎂

If you look closely, you might even spot where the a swimming pool was planned – perfect for the weather we've been having! 🏊‍♂️🔍

What a legacy! Hope everyone is looking forward to the 75th birthday celebrations this weekend at Hopehill!

With the Knights drawing out now (not sorry at all) with the spring equinox we have been playing host to the Medieval Siege Society. They in turn played host to Molly the therapy duck at 22 days old.

The medieval siege society are regular users of Hopehill practicing re-enactments and welcoming new members.

Have had a couple of dead tress on the southern boundary dealt with today. A bit too much for Alan and JT to handle safely.

Been a busy day on site with various jobs big and small taking place.

Our tomahawk range getting a wood chip flood, bell hanger getting a like of paint, bollard getting a a new top, field kitchen ready to go up at the weekend, our mesuem having a bit of attention, bookings being felt with, grass cutting, window cleaning and finally fire extinguishers checked. Plus all the other ones that escaped the camera.
