Grappenhall and Thelwall Neighbourhood Plan

Grappenhall and Thelwall Neighbourhood Plan ⭐️PLAN SUBMITTED TO WARRINGTON COUNCIL⭐️

The NP is the statutory way for residents to shape development for the next 10-15 yrs.

We aim to protect green/blue spaces and heritage assets, shape infrastructure and influence the type and tenure of new homes.

🏡 Building the Right Homes for Our Parish

Today’s video highlights the real housing needs within Grappenhall & Thelwall — and why it’s so important that new development truly reflects what our community requires.
The Neighbourhood Plan plays a key role in this. It sets out clear policies to guide what types of homes developers can build, helping to ensure that any future housing actually meets the needs of local people — not just what developers want to build.
Residents have told us that it is particularly important that new development provides homes for young people looking to buy their first home and older people looking to downsize.
By shaping these policies together, we can influence the size, style, range, affordability, and suitability of future homes in our parish.
Your voice matters. Let’s make sure the homes built here genuinely serve our community’s needs. 🏠🌿
