SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity exists to make sure our Armed Forces community never battle alone.

This Armed Forces Day, join us in celebrating and honouring military families at Armed Forces Cleethorpes and help us ensure we can continue to be there for Armed Forces families, as we have been for over 140 years.

Visit the team at the SSAFA Veterans Village at Cleethorpes Armed Forces Weekend (26-28 June) to find out more on how you can help 💙

24/06/2026

Ahead of Armed Forces Day 2026, we're calling on the public to honour and celebrate military families and their sacrifices by participating in local Armed Forces Day events.

9 in 10 serving personnel have missed monumental milestone moments due to military service. Yet, despite these major sacrifices almost three quarters of spouses feel it’s worth it to see their serving person defend their country and are proud to belong to the wider Armed Forces community.

Join our wonderful SSAFA Lincolnshire volunteers as they spend the weekend honouring and celebrating military families and their sacrifices at Cleethorpes Armed Forces Weekend. There will be a Tree of Thanks on the stand within the SSAFA Veterans Village, where visitors can leave a message of thanks to serving personnel, veterans and their families 🌳🙏
