Grantham foodbank was launched in July 2011 under the auspices of Churches Together in Grantham and District to provide emergency food help to local people in crisis. The foodbamk accepts deliveries Monday to Friday 9.30 to 11.30am thank you

🌾🍎 Harvest Festival at Grantham Foodbank 🥕🌾

Harvest is a time to give thanks, and we have so much to be thankful for!

A huge THANK YOU to all the churches, schools and community groups who are already collecting for us this harvest. Every tin, packet and jar you gather helps us support local families going through a tough time, and we're truly grateful for your kindness and generosity. 💚

Haven't chosen where your harvest donations will go yet? We'd love you to think of us. Whether you're a school, church, club, workplace or group of friends, everything you collect will stay right here in Grantham, helping people in our own community.

🥔 Calling all allotment holders and gardeners!�Had a bumper crop this year? Your surplus fruit and veg could make a real difference to the people we support. Fresh produce is a wonderful addition to our food parcels, so please don't let it go to waste.

🚐 We can come to you!�If you'd like us to collect your harvest donations or surplus fruit and veg, just get in touch and we'll arrange a collection.

Thank you so much to the staff and customers at Asda for their support with our food drive on Saturday! The total collected is still being calculated, but every single donation is much appreciated and goes to help local families when they need it most. The next drive at Asda will be on the 28th November 😊

🚣‍♂️ Canal race done and dusted! 🚣‍♂️

Ross crossed the finish line of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal Race 🎉 while Kev gave it everything before medical advice called time in the early hours of Sunday — both absolute legends.

Together they’ve raised an incredible £2,356 for Grantham Foodbank 💛

Massive thanks to Ross and Kev, and to everyone who sponsored them. This will make a real difference to local families. 👏

UPDATE: They’re off!

At 6am this morning, Ross and Kev set off on their 130-mile challenge along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal — and they’re doing brilliantly so far! 💪

They’ve got until 10pm tomorrow to complete the full route, so there are still a lot of miles (and probably a few sore legs) ahead. Every step is for Grantham Foodbank, and the support so far has been amazing.

💙 Fundraising total: £2,206 — smashing through their original £1,800 target! Thank you to everyone who’s donated.

Just a quick reminder that Grantham Foodbank will be CLOSED on Monday (August 31st) for the Bank Holiday. We’ll be back to support our community as normal from Tuesday 1st September (donations) and Wednesday 2nd September (client collections). Thank you for your understanding 😃

🐶 No one should ever have to choose between feeding themselves or feeding their pet 🐱

Blue Cross and Pets at Home are running a Summer Appeal until 31 August, collecting pet food donations to support families facing cost-of-living pressures. Since 2021, this partnership has fed over 4.5 million pets nationwide!

📍 You can purchase a pet food parcel or make a monetary donation at the Pets at Home Grantham store on Sankt Augustin Way — just pop it in the Blue Cross donation bin.

Every tin, pouch, or bag helps a family stay together with the pet they love ❤️

130 miles. 40 hours. One epic reason. 🏃‍♂️🏃

Meet Ross and Kev — two friends about to attempt something neither of them has ever done before: running the entire length of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, nearly 130 miles, in under 40 hours. In August 2026.

Why? Because every year, families right here in our community struggle to put food on the table — and Ross and Kev want to help, one gruelling mile at a time.

Every penny raised goes straight to Grantham Foodbank, helping us to keep providing food and support to people in crisis.

Lincolnshire’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is open NOW, and there are still spaces in and around Grantham for the rest of the summer holidays.
