That’s a wrap on our Tuesday’s season!
Huge congratulations to Phoenix, who go the whole season unbeaten to lift the title. A brilliant from start to finish.
Grantham Tennis club finish as runners-up after a strong season, and Pink Ladies and Cygnets round out the top four after going toe to toe right to the final week. Ninjas and River Hawks were never far behind!
Well played too to Storm Chaser and Hunters, who kept turning out and competing every week.
Thank you to all the players, captains, umpires and volunteers who made this season what it was.
And there’s no time to rest, because the new season starts this week. We’ve got a brand new team joining us and two existing sides merging, so the table is going to look a little different. Exciting times ahead.
Looking for a team? Some of our teams in the league are on the lookout for players right now, whatever your current level of playing/fitness. If you fancy getting involved, get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction.
We also need umpires. If you’ve umpired before, or you’re interested in giving it a go, we’d love to hear from you. The league only runs because people step up, and full support is there for anyone starting out. Go to our new website for more information on playing and umpiring …. https://newarknetball.co.uk
