Hougham and Marston Village Hall Hougham and Marston Village Hall is located between the 2 villages and is a spacious & well equipped facility for groups, parties and wedding receptions.

There are sports fields, two children’s play areas and easy access to riverside walk and the Witham.

Thanks to the continuing generosity of the Moor Bio Energy Community Fund, we now have some new fridges; a nice big larder fridge in the kitchen and a fridge/freezer and b**r fridge in the bar. Next Saturday’s Supper Quiz will see them in action for the first time. We really appreciate the support.

As there was no meeting of the Trustees last month, at this week’s September meeting both the August and September draws took place.

Whew, what a night it turned out to be, the roof was certainly raised! We have to thank GhostFire for putting on a great show and also our appreciation goes to Marc and Jan for organising the whole thing and to Jan, Rod and Amanda, most importantly, for running the bar! We think we are right in saying that a good time was had by all!
