Day two of Mini Olympics is about to be underway with a stadium full of energy.
Children are taking part across activity zones, representing their schools and giving everything a go. The focus is simple, participation, confidence and enjoyment for every child.
Keep your eyes peeled for more highlights from across the Mini Olympics.

The inspire+ team thoroughly enjoyed getting together with the on Saturday to take on the 8 mile Kinder Scout hike.
Despite the interesting weather conditions (and a few wrong turns..), it was a brilliant day. We are so grateful to everyone who took part, supported and donated and would like to say a special thank you to Jensen for inviting us to join them on this year's charity walk.
Every contribution helps strengthen our work across schools and communities and supports the next stage of our Community Hub plans.

Just one week to go!

From 9th–11th June, schools from across the county will take to the stadium across three days of Mini Olympics.

Each day brings new energy and new moments of teamwork, confidence and participation. An experience many children will remember long after the day is over.
We can’t wait to get started.

Follow along to see it all in action.

Chloe, a level 2 Community Activator Coach at Bure Valley School, was recently recognised as Apprentice of the Month. After deciding she wanted to pursue a career in education without going to university, Chloe found an alternative route through inspire+.
From leading netball lessons and developing confidence in teaching, to supporting pupils through sport, Chloe’s journey shows how apprenticeships can create meaningful pathways into education. Her passion for girls’ football and aspiration to work in behaviour support and SEND demonstrate the wider impact of learning through practical experience.
If you have been involved with inspire+ apprenticeships at any point, we would love to hear your experience. Share a moment that has stayed with you or the impact you have seen in the comments.

We are incredibly grateful for our long-standing partnership with Jensen Group Solutions and the continued support they show our work.
Their upcoming charity walk, which will help raise funds for the inspire+ Community Hub, marks the third time they have fundraised for us. That ongoing commitment means a great deal to us and to the young people and communities we work with every day.
We are excited to announce that we will be joining them for the walk, taking the opportunity to come together, strengthen our partnership and keep building on the impact we are making together.

Yesterday we hosted a Year 3 and 4 All Stars Cricket Festival in partnership with Lincolnshire County Cricket, welcoming 68 pupils from 7 schools for a brilliant day of activity and teamwork.
Delivered through our School Games Organiser programme and alongside Priory Ruskin Academy, the festival gave children the chance to build confidence, try new skills and enjoy being part of a team.
A big thank you to everyone involved for bringing such great energy to the day.
If your school has joined one of our festivals this year, we’d love to hear what your pupils enjoyed most in the comments.

Children’s wellbeing is shaped by the spaces they learn, play and belong in.
During Mental Health Awareness Week, we are reflecting on the role that movement, routine and positive relationships play in supporting children’s mental wellbeing. Feeling active, included and part of something can make a real difference.
Schools and community spaces, including projects like our holiday activity camps, are powerful environments for building confidence, connection and healthier, happier childhoods.

Last week at inspire+ was packed with positive school sport moments.
Through our SGO partnership, we delivered a KS1 Inclusive Festival and KS1 Cricket sessions, before welcoming the return of Year 5 and 6 alongside Year 3 and 4 at our KS2 Cross Country event. With 386 children taking part, it was brilliant to see so many young people getting active.
Across all three events, the energy, determination and encouragement on display was incredible.
These opportunities matter. They help children build confidence, enjoy being active and carry those positive experiences with them long after the event ends. Thank you to the schools, staff and supporters who helped make last week such a success. Help us spread the impact by sharing this with your school community.

Thinking about a career in education? This is what real, hands-on learning looks like.
Our Apprentice of the Month, Chloe, is a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprentice at St Michael’s Church of England Primary School. Through her apprenticeship, she’s grown in confidence, learned how to support different personalities in the classroom, and built skills in both structured and playful teaching.
Want a route into education that builds real experience and real confidence? Sign up to our next apprenticeship information webinar via the link below, or send us a message today, and we will help you take the first step.
