Lauren, after also being a carer for many years, founded Farrow Friends in 2017 after noticing a gap in the care industry that meant
some people, who didn't necessarily need personal care, but needed extra help with activities and or companionship, were falling through the net. Farrow Friends has gone on to win numerous local and national awards and continues to be a leader in the field in its region. In addition to her first business venture as well as various other projects, Lauren is the European representative for the Nyumbani Kwanza Foundation in Tanzania and an Ambassador for the Princes Trust, offering support and Mentorship to young adults on the various courses the Trust offers. Lauren has since won local and national competitions including those for Customer Care, entrepreneurship and other wins at national level. On her business journey Lauren has received much recognition including that of HRH the Duchess of Cornwall, Mentorship from Linda Plant, supported events such as the Brilliant Breakfast and appeared on national TV and press many times.
