𝗨𝟭𝟭 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 💛💙
In crisp autumnal conditions, the Lionesses delivered another improved performance, in their debut season, against Barrowby this morning.
From the first whistle, it was a closely contested game, with the Lionesses taking an early lead. Dominating for large parts of the game, the team showed just how far they have progressed, competing brilliantly against a strong opposition. Two goals conceded against the wind proved costly, with a third coming with the last kick as the Lionesses pushed for an equaliser.
Their passing was excellent throughout, moving the ball confidently and creating an increasing number of attacking plays. The team’s outstanding development this season is obvious, and their positivity absolutely incredible.💙💛
Big thank you to Grantham Lions Club for their support of providing and sponsoring our girls this season!

What a wonderful evening we had celebrating Lion Sandie Baker. Lion Sandie received the highest award a Lion can get. She was our first female Lion opening the gates for more women to join. She is a very active member of our club and a great Lion and friend. A well deserved MJF award to our lovely Lion Sandie. Thank you to Spalding Lions for your wonderful company

Every year we elect a new President to take meetings, represent Lions at external events, act as spokesperson when required, and keep us all in order! 😵🙄 🥲😆
This year Phil becomes our President, taking over from Godfrey.
We had a lovely meal and social event to do the official handover, and the photo is shown here. Good luck to Phil for another successful year for Lions.
If you have ever considered volunteering and would like to come to a meeting to see what we are all about, please doo not hesitate to contact us.

We are incredibly grateful to Grantham Lions Club for their generous donation of £600 to our Mixed Ability Squash & Racketball Group.

This amazing support will help us continue providing opportunities for adults with both physical and mental disabilities to enjoy sport, build confidence, make friends and be part of a welcoming community.

A huge thank you to Grantham Lions Club for believing in what we do and helping us make a real difference. Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated by everyone involved.
