đź’” A Final Goodbye from Bowhouse Community Association đź’”
After 23 incredible years serving our community, Bowhouse Community Association has officially dissolved. We want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone—local groups, private hires, and visitors from near and far—who supported the centre.
Since becoming a charity in 2002, we’ve achieved so much together:
âś… In the last 5 years, ÂŁ74,000 donated to local food banks, community groups, and families in need
âś… Countless events that brought joy and connection to Grangemouth
âś… Our much-loved Christmas party, supported by INEOS and Grangemouth Rotary Club of Grangemouth
In 2020, we faced the challenge of a Community Asset Transfer. After 5 years of careful consideration and hard work from our amazing volunteers and caretaker Campbell, we made the difficult decision not to proceed due to lack of community commitment and also too many repairs requiring a vast amount of funding to allow us to continue with the centre.
We’re proud of the legacy we leave behind—and we hope the spirit of Bowhouse continues to shine in Grangemouth. Thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️
