We had help from Hazel who is the Shed Ambassador and has had a lot of luck in recruiting to the Shed. she actually does some work too!

Spring is on the way!

Well, that is they say that, it's hard to image at the moment. Anyway it is time to think about the wildlife in your garden and to put up your bird boxes. We can make most kinds for the popular birds you are likely to see.
For later on in the year we can make over winter nesting boxes for hedgehogs. We have even made a weasel box although that we more for a photo studio than a nest.

Happy Christmas Everyone

Just a short message to wish everyone Happy Christmas and New Year.
Also a request for ideas. We have been making the odd things, like t-lights, utilising the natural features of wood. However, we have a number of pieces of wood and we are looking for ideas of how best to use them.
See the photos any ideas would be gratefully received.
We will be back next week and looking to the year ahead.
All the best to you all.

Christmas Tree Festival
The St Paul's festival was a success last night and people seemed to like our forest. Let's hope it will survive the storms of winter.

Christmas is Coming!

You may have noticed but we are being swamped with Christmas Trees. They are actually for the St Paul's Festival so you will have to wait until 4th December to see how they all go together.

Closure Monday 27 October
The Housing Association, carrying out the development, are planning to close Back Yewbarrow Terrace on Monday to carry out road repairs. The have said they will close the full road to vehicles and pedestrians for 2 days, closing access to the Shed. To avoid any complications or problems on Monday I do not intend to open the Shed. I hope business will be back to normal on Wednesday.

Al last we have a bit more space in the workshop. For the last couple of months we have been building an outdoor display cabinet for Carnforth Primary. The school has an ecology project and want to be able to display things they have found and show information.
Hopefully we can work on some smaller projects now. Also we will soon be making a Christmas Tree/Forest for the St Paul's festival which will again take up space.

Classics Over Sands 2025

A quick reminder that the Show will be on Sunday this week. We will have a stall there so you can have a chance to come over and chat. The pic is from last year as a reminder.
Some of us will have their cars on show, mine will be featured in the afternoon and I will be chatting about it - what is it? Wait till Sunday.
Hope we meet a lot of people on the day.
