Members were treated to a fabulous talk by Phil, the society's most well travelled bonsai pilgrim.✈️🌎
This talk was about his 2017 trip to Taiwan. 🇹🇼We were shown the amazing bonsai, gardens, suiseki, landscapes and architecture, all so very different to our own.🌳🏞
The talk captured the colour, culture, cuisine, hospitality and friendliness of this wonderful country. Definitely one for the bucket list! ☀️🍜

Not long to go til our next “away day” at Exmouth on June 14th! 🚗🌳🌊🍦
'Bonsai by the Sea' is a fantastic day out and we encourage anyone curious about bonsai to get there!
There will be displays by Cornwall and other societies from all over the South West, as well as traders selling a range of bonsai related goods.
It all takes place in The Pavilion, a lovely venue right on the sea front at Exmouth.
We hope to see you there!

If you are looking for a wonderful day out this sunny Sunday, why not visit Clay Country Plant Fayre at Roche Victory Hall. It's open from 10:00 til 3.00 and there are plenty of stalls selling plants and garden-related products. Entry is FREE and all proceeds go to Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue 🦔🛖
Cornwall Bonsai Society is selling starter bonsai, accent plants, kokedama (moss balls), pots, fertilizer and ornaments. We're a thriving club that welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds.

Lin enjoyed opening her garden to the public so much last year, that she's doing it again!
This Sunday 10th May from 10:00-17:00 you can visit Lin's beautiful garden in Lerryn.
It's close to the river and there are plenty of places to sit and take in the stunning view.
By visiting you'll help raise money for nursing and health charities through the National Garden Scheme.
Lin's garden has many features including colourful borders, fruit trees, a wildlife pond and bonsai display. 🌼🍎⛲️🌳

May is a busy month for the society. No sooner is one event over, it's time to start preparing for the next!
On Sunday 10th May, the society are delighted to be returning to the Clay Country Plant Fayre. This is an annual event that brings together local specialist plant nurseries, growers and makers of garden-related products. All proceeds go to Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue 🦔🛖
Members of the society will be running our stall and selling all things bonsai! So whether you're after a starter bonsai, tree in training, miniature grass, kokedama (moss ball), pot or ornament, we have all you need. 🌳🌿😍
Come along and see us on Sunday.
