Lots of goodies on the counter today! Roast Chicken Baps, Salami and Cheese Paninis and Peppered Beef. We've also (finally!) had a restock of the fridge! Lots of new goodies to try, including pizza twists, pies and Cheddar and Bacon bombs!

Our whirlwind Shannen is in the kitchen on work experience so pop down for a cuppa and a bite to eat (and ask Shannon for her joke of the day too!) ☀️

We're popping a load of sausages and hash browns in the oven for a cheeky Full English Special in the Coffee Shop today! Served from 10am, a limited number of our cooked brekkies will be available, first come first served. £7.50, all cooked fresh to order on our tiny grill/oven (so please expect a little wait if there's a party more than 2!) 😂

Pop down and enjoy a treat! ☀️

Help needed! We're calling out to our wonderful community for a little help, advice and/or expertise!

Our little kitchen/cafe could do with a little makeover- something that works a little better with a bit of a busier environment and help us maximise our tiny space both for customers and our volunteers working behind the scenes. We sort of know what we want, but we're reaching out to see if anyone within the village/our wider community may have some untapped knowledge or expertise who could advise!

And if not, we'd love some suggestions of local businesses that may have a smaller kitchen space but manage great things for inspiration/advice- and perhaps they wouldn't mind us having a little look at their kitchens/prep areas either.

We're at the fact-finding stage at the moment, so the more information/recommendations/knowledge/budget-constraints we can gather, the better.

We're all set up and ready to rumble, celebrating Richard Brooke turning 100! We have a card for friends and neighbours to sign too, so even if you can't stay for cake please do pop by to wish him well!

Birthday celebrations TOMORROW at Grampound Village Store, in honour of Richard Brooke's 100th Birthday. Please help spread the word to those friends and neighbours who may not be on Social Media.

As some of you may know, Richard Brooke, a long term Grampound resident (since November 1987!) and founding contributor to the Grampound Village Store & café, of Creed Lane, reaches a significant milestone in his life on Saturday 26th of September, Richard will then celebrate his 100th Birthday!!!

Though Richard will be unable to attend, his family and friends would like to invite all those that know or know of Richard to a little 'shindig' they are hosting at the village store/café on Friday 25th of September.
Yes that's right, TOMORROW MORNING, from when the shop opens until mid-afternoon or when the cake runs out!

There'll be tea and/or coffee for all and cakes a plenty, time for a chat or a reminisce, people can record videos or we can take pictures for Richard and the family to see later or on the actual date.

We appreciate the short notice, but all are very welcome who know Richard and we'd be very happy to see you all! Thanks and hope to see you there, Steven Brooke.

Oh we do love a well-stocked chiller! Finally catching up after carnival week; with a fresh delivery of quiches, meats, deli bits, plenty of snacks and Cornish cheeses galore. Come and take a look at the weird and wonderful delights!

Behold……Our Carnival Menu! We’ll be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 9am until about 4:30 or until we sell out!

We’ve got Paninis, Baps, Baguettes, Salad Boxes and Kids Lunch Boxes alongside all our usual coffee options. The shop will also be open from 9, there will be fresh bread, milk and the freezer is fully stocked with ice creams!

Just a heads up, to avoid big queues in the shop, we’ll be taking payment for the carnival takeaway menu actually in the coffee shop, not at the main till as we usually do. Payment can be made by cash or card 😊
