Great event in the Village this Saturday, open to everyone. 😊

Hope everyone had a nice long weekend.

Reminder that we’re on the count down to our annual colour run!

Every Gourdon School pupil should have had their sponsor form home, if not please let us know and we can send it over. These sponsor forms & sponsorship money are required to be handed in by Friday 5th June please, it helps us prepare for numbers 🙏

If you’ve got friends or family who want to join in too it’s only £3 entry fee!

We will be doing events from August to raise money to purchase equipment (tents, seating etc) and to support other groups within the Village.

Each of the coffee mornings will include a £1 sale, any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Donations of preloved toys and clothing accepted all year round. 😊

🔹2k will stay with PITP to fund a new tent(s), equipment, insurance and entertainment license.

🔹£400 donation to Yogi & Cindy Bear Charity

🔹Remainder split equally with Gourdon School & Gourdon Community Council - £994.59 to each

Just short of £1000 was given away with free tokens for the inflatables, free guesses for the Teddy and sweets in the jar.

Thank you to Gourdon Community Council for assisting with banking, insurance & entertainment licence this year.

We are overwhelmed by the lovely emails, messages and comments regarding the event and how fantastic the day was. 😊

Party in the Park 2026!

A year of planning definitely paid off, we are extremely happy with how well the event ran.

Apologies if we have missed anyone, we are still recovering and on day 3 of the tidy / sort out of everything.

As long as we keep getting the support this event will continue to run each year 🙌.

We are taking June & July off before we start the planning for 2027 in August.

Thank you to everyone who supported PITP this year, we will do a separate post detailing everything.

We still need to do a final count but looking like we raised 4.6k, just under 1k was given away for free with tokens for the inflatables and guesses for the teddies birthday and sweets in the jar.

Once we have a final total, the committee will meet to discuss before the money if given out. Money will be kept to cover the yearly insurance, entertainment license, a new tent and a donation to the Yogi & Cindy Bears Charity before the money is equally split with Gourdon Primary School & Gourdon Community Council.

Jemma & Stephen have drawn the raffle, we will be in touch with the winners.
