At Future Steps Hampshire CIC, we believe that confidence is about believing in yourself and importantly, having the courage to try.

And sometimes, the smallest words can have the biggest difference.

"You are enough"
"I believe in you"

🎉 And we have some exciting news coming soon!! 🎉

We've been busy behind the scenes building on the success of our school workshops which we have now been running for over eight months! We want to bring some of our favourite confidence building and creative activities into the home!

We can't wait to share more with you --- watch this space! 👀

Huge thanks to Gosport Rotary Club for their sponsorship which is enabling our Gosport primary workshops to happen.

Volunteer Knitters/Crocheters wanted!

To help us raise funds and continue our work supporting young people with our confidence and wellbeing work, we are looking for some help. We are creating fidgets for our Christmas fayre stall and need some simple crochet or knitted shapes for us to assemble into our fidgets.

If you are interested in helping us bring some care and creativity into our community - just a few squares or circles would be very much appreciated - please send us a message and we can forward you details of what we need.

Thank you so much!

A little shell, a positive thought and a moment of calm…

Another super week of workshops at two primary schools.

Sometimes, the simplest activities can create lovely opportunities to pause, breathe and feel good about ourselves.

The children held the shells gently to their ears while practising slow, calming breaths and then decorated their shells with positive colours, pictures and messages. A small reminder that we can take a moment for ourselves, focus on something positive and find a little calm in a busy day.

At Future Steps Hampshire CIC, we love exploring creative ways to support children's confidence, wellbeing and emotional awareness.

Huge thanks to Gosport Rotary Club for their generous donation that has enabled us to purchase resources and make these workshops happen.

Technology is amazing - after all, it’s how you’re reading this right now! But balance is everything.

In a world full of screens, notifications, and constant noise, our well-being workshops and sessions for young people offer something different - a totally tech-free zone to unplug, connect, and create.

We focus on real face-to-face interaction, hands on creative activities and moments of genuine calm and reflection.

It’s amazing what happens when we put the devices down and just engage with the present moment.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Gosport Rotary Club whose generous donation has enabled us to purchase all the resources we need for our primary workshops until at least January. Two schools are already benefiting from these resources this month with more to follow. Here is a small selection! Thank you again.

Week 2 of our primary workshops and the children never cease to make us so proud of their openness to create some wonderful positivity jars with some fantastic positive messages they wrote to put inside.
They also added some blank paper for future messages to themselves.
‘I am kind’
‘I am brave’
And the best one we saw this week….
‘I AM ME’

What a fabulous summer we have had and we are ready to restart our Creative Confidence workshops in two Gosport primary schools this week. One returning school and one brand new!

So grateful to Utilita Gosport and King's Group Academies Gosport Community Hub for their support in allowing us to use their spaces this summer for our youth and primary pop up workshops.

We are very excited for our new chapter to begin and build on the success we have enjoyed so far.

Lots of new ideas so watch this space!
