Putting the FUN into FUNDRAISING
Our GHR presenters were out and about on Saturday 13th June. We were at Gosport Asda playing music 🎶 and collecting money to keep our hospital radio 📻 online for another 3️⃣0️⃣ years!
They say every picture 📸 tells a story and these pictures say Fun, Fun, Fun.
We were right next to the store entrance and our little gazebo was definitely the place to be....we had customers coming to do their shopping 🛍 and staying to request songs and do a little dancing 💃. We were having our own little party whilst raising all important funds 💰to keep our radio station on air to make sure we entertain the patients in the War Memorial Hospital 🏥 and, hopefully, keep them cheerful 😁 and their toes 🦶tapping.
If you joined us then thank you 🙏for your support. As a volunteer charity we rely on you 😍 and you didn't disappoint us.
We played lots of requests, we made a lot of people dance 🕺, we made a lot of people sing 🎤, lots of people didn't just walk past us they danced past, and our voices were heard right across Asda carpark 😉 . Most of all we collected lots of money 💰 and made a lot of people, on their dreary weekly shop, happy 😊
As the photos show, we had a blast 💣💥and lots of Asda customers did, too. Luckily the weather was as great as the day with the sun 🌞 shining
