It was a fantastic return to the iconic Southport 24 Hour Race for the RNSA, with the team finishing 11th overall out of 74 and 2nd in the Enterprise fleet at the 2026 event.

Eleven Royal Navy sailors are in Vassiliki, Greece, for the RNSA Dinghy Training Camp 2026, an intermediate camp focused on developing boat-handling, confidence and racing skills.

The Royal Naval Sailing Association was delighted to host Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal at the Andrew Simpson Centre in Portsmouth on Monday 7 September in her capacity as their Admiral and Patron. Her Royal Highness enjoyed the opportunity to meet with beneficiaries and hear about the impact that RNSA is having across the naval community. Key partners and supporters joined us to celebrate the success of RNSA’s ‘Sail Together’ programme, which by the end of 2026 will have delivered free RYA sailing courses to 1500 naval family members.

During the visit, The Princess Royal met RN personnel and their families, as well as supporters of RNSA’s work to make sailing and its benefits as accessible as possible to the Naval community.
