It's our birthday, Scouts! 🎉 🥳 ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

A humbling evening when you see a team member continue to grow through constantly challenging themselves. To help others learn and improve, and also them selves.
Tonight we saw the top scouting award be presented to Sophie, The Kings Award. This is not an easy thing to achieve, taking several years of hard work. A big scouting bravo to you 👏.
As part of Hampshire tradition, she also got to briefly ware, the silver elephant. 1 of only 3 in the uk

Looking for something to do over Easter?

Ever fancied becoming a freeartfriday artist?
Over the Easter weekend (as part of my treasure hunt) we’ll be running freeart workshops.
The awesome will provide cardboard, art materials and buckets of experience and enthusiasm so you can make your own masterpiece!

Workshops will be running all weekend at Casemates Rehearsal Studios and cafe, Bastion 4, Scott road, Hilsea po3 5jh.

No need to book, just turn up between 10am and 4pm on Good Friday and Saturday or 10am – 2pm on Easter Sunday. There’s a great café bar that does great coffee and cake too!

Huge thanks to casemates for being brilliant, both over the weekend and for all you do for the city’s music scene.
Can’t wait to see what everyone creates!

Will have to have a proper look. Tom from The Studio at ThirteenEight has done another bit of art in Elson Park. Much more bright and cheery

Love the idea. Powered by the plastic it eats!!!

This plastic-eating, self-powered robotic fish could mark the beginning of a new era in environmental cleanup, in which technology doesn’t just consume energy but gives some back to the planet.

If your making pancakes tonight. Have you thought about splitting a small amount of the mix and adding cocoa powder or food colouring?
If you get creative, we'd love to see what you come up with.
