No3 (SW) SATT also known as 3 SATT is one of several specialist training teams in the RAF Air Cadets. Our remit is to train Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV)s from the RAF Air Cadets (ATC and CCF RAF Sections) and support the training of Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) and Army Cadet Force (ACF) CFAVs in Range Management and Skill At Arms qualifications that enable shooting activities in the Cadet Forces to take place both safely and to a high standard. We work closely with the Wings within SW Region and proactively support them to keep shooting high on the activity priority list. Helping them give our cadets the best Cadet Experience they possibly can. We are here to support CFAVs as the subject matter experts by providing advice and guidance in the world of Range Management and Skill At Arms related matters. Our course calendar and various resources are available to all on our BADER SharePoint site. Please visit us here and on BADER on a regular basis to keep up to speed on what we are doing and how we can help you and your cadets get shooting. Remember we are here to help!!

Last month we ran a combined SA (K) (17) and Long Range RMQ Course, welcoming students from RAFAC and the ACF from across the UK. Those staff are now ready to play key roles on Short and Long ranges for their units, providing Live Fire Marksmanship Training for cadets. Interested in widening your skills? We still have spaces on our November Short Range RMQ Course. RAFAC personnel can find full details and the application form on the Shooting Portal. Personnel from other Cadet Forces can drop our adjutant an email for further details: [email protected]
