Gosforth Sea Cadets Welcome to Gosforth Sea Cadets. Cadets go to sea, learn to sail and do training on a nautical theme, and gain qualifications to get a headstart in life.

All training and events for the Mighty G will be uploaded onto this page so that cadets and parents can keep upto date with the units activities!

Cadets born between 01/09/2007 and 31/08/2010

⚓The BTEC Level 2 in Teamwork and Personal Development in the Community will help you develop a wide variety of skills including effective communication, career planning, the value of volunteering and character development.

You can expect to study units including:
📌 Personal development through adventurous activities
📌 Employment skills in uniformed organisations
📌Fundamentals of nautical studies
📌Land navigation by map and compass

Aimed at cadets aged 16-18, this nationally recognised qualification will enhance further education or job applications, and it also looks great on a CV alongside school and college work.

Huge thanks and BZ to all those in attendance at the RNP last night. Tuesday is our inspection night and it is important that we have all cadets that are not on holiday at the unit.
We will be open from 1500 for any last minute uniform touch ups etc so cadets are welcome to come anytime from 1500.

Parents can come and watch the evening parade and should aim to arrive at the unit for 1915 ready to begin with colours at 1930.
Rig is Number 1 for those that have it- PCS/MTP for those that don’t. Cadets should bring their PCS/MTP to change into for their classes once colours has finished
