Thank you to Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art for a wonderful guided accessibility tour.

Our Hearing Loss Support Group had an excellent morning visiting the Baltic and experiencing the tour using our assistive technology for both Oticon and Phonak hearing aids. The technology enabled participants to hear the guide more clearly and take part in the tour in a more inclusive and accessible way.

We were also able to demonstrate how the microphones can be used by guides and provide valuable feedback to the Baltic Centre about accessibility for visitors with hearing loss.

It was a fantastic morning out, enjoyed by everyone, and a great opportunity to show how the right technology and simple adjustments can make cultural experiences more accessible and inclusive. We look forward to visiting again next year.

PLEASE NOTE-There will be no HoH group on Tuesday 11th of August due to the tour on Thursday 13th of August .
Hearing loss Support Group -Accessibility Free Tour. If you would like to come along to the visit please let me know as I have a few spaces still available.

The purpose of this free tour is to gather your feedback on how accessible you find the museum, while also giving you and the museum staff the opportunity to experience the equipment we use during our sessions and see how it works.
Your thoughts and feedback will be incredibly valuable in helping the tour guide and museum team make the museum even more accessible for future visitors.
After the tour, you're very welcome to stay and explore the rest of the exhibits at your own pace.
Please let me know if you'd like to attend! [email protected] or text 07783754343
See you there!
