Goring10K The Goring 10K is one of the most popular runs in Oxfordshire. Set in beautiful countryside with chip timing, closed roads and amazing flapjack!

All proceeds go to Goring Primary School for much needed funds The Goring 10K passes through beautiful countryside, it’s a scenic and popular event. The race is ideal for runners training for the Reading half marathon or the London marathon but also has appeal for those less serious runners with more realistic ambitions or those who just want to shed some of that Christmas excess.

🏃‍♂️ Congratulations to everyone who ran the Goring 10K today!

What a fantastic day. The morning kicked off with a brilliant warm-up led by Hannah Dunbar, getting everyone ready for the start, before Olympian Ibrahim officially set the runners on their way.

Nothing beats standing at the finish line and seeing everyone come in smiling – relishing a brilliant personal achievement and celebrating with one of Pierrepont’s famous flapjacks.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, a fantastic group of local businesses whose support makes the event possible, and to our incredible volunteers who give their time to make the day run so smoothly.

🏃‍♂️ It’s Race Day at the Goring 10K!

There’s still time to join us – race day registration is open until 10.30am, so if you’re feeling inspired this morning, come along and take part.

The Goring 10K is known for its beautiful countryside course and fantastic community atmosphere, all while raising funds for Goring Primary School.

We’re also delighted that ibrahim.olympics will be starting the race this year, helping send our runners on their way.

It’s a family-friendly morning, so even if you’re not running, come down and enjoy the day:

🏃‍♂️ RACE DAY REMINDER! 🏃‍♀️

Calling all runners - to keep local roads clear and ensure a smooth race day, please park in the Thames Court Car Park in Goring Village.

📍 Location: Thames Court Car Park, Cleeve Road, Goring, RG8 9AR
🔒 Secure parking: The barrier will be manned from 9am for entry. When leaving, simply drive slowly towards the barrier, and it will lift automatically.
🚶‍♂️ Walk to the start: It’s an 18-minute walk from the car park to the race start line - perfect for a warm-up!

🚆 Travelling by train? Goring & Streatley Station is just a short walk from the race start, making it an easy way to get here.

Last chance to enter the Goring 10K online!

Today is the final day for online entries for this year’s Goring 10K. With the forecast looking good, what better way to spend your Sunday, than enjoying a beautiful run through the Oxfordshire countryside while helping raise funds for Goring primary school.

If you miss the online deadline, entries will also be available on the day, just be sure to allow plenty of time to register before the start.

5 days to go… and we have a very special Race Starter!

We’re delighted to announce that Ibrahim Turay will be starting this year’s Goring10k.

An international and Olympic sprinter, Ibrahim has represented his country at the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and World Championships – an incredible sporting career at the highest level.

We’re hugely proud (and just a little bit excited!) that he’ll be on the start line with us in Goring. As a member of Reading Athletic Club he’s very much part of our local running community too.

We can’t wait to see you all on the start line.

Only one week to go until the Goring10k!

We’re incredibly grateful to Pierreponts Café in Goring for their continued support of the Goring10k.

The team at Pierreponts are known locally for serving fantastic quality food in a relaxed, friendly setting, wonderful dishes prepared with care and served by a happy, knowledgeable team who always make you feel welcome.

Good luck to everyone running the Woodcote 10k today organised by the rotaryclubofpangbourne.

This race raises funds for charities and supports a range of good causes. You can register right up to 9.45 on the day of the race. Regretfully there will be no "on the day, offline" registrations.
