A huge and heartfelt thank you to all the generous French-speaking Lovelies who have kindly contributed to their Christmas tombola and Christmas tree placed outside Mill Cottage by Brigitte and Claudie. They have raised a very impressive €450 and paid it to the Hub account this morning - our first donation of the new year - thank you very much to you all!

Un immense et chaleureux merci à toutes les généreuses Lovelies Francophones qui ont bien voulu contribuer à leur tombola de Noël et à leur sapin de Noël placés devant Mill Cottage par Brigitte et Claudie. Ils ont récolté la somme impressionnante de 450 € et l'ont versé sur le compte Hub ce matin - notre premier don de la nouvelle année - merci beaucoup à vous tous !

If you missed giving Santa your gift list last Thursday, he'll be back touring the streets west of the Goring railway bridge this Thursday 19th December 18:00 - 20:00 (courtesy of the Rotary Club of Pangbourne). Just listen for the Christmas music then pop out to see him! Thank you to the generous locals (east of the railway bridge) who donated last Thursday to the combined causes of the Hub, My Cancer My Choices and the Curtis Palmer Program, and to Santa and the Chessher family (plus other) elves for volunteering to collect door to door.

Puzzle Pals today - do come and join us at the Hub any Monday 12:30 - 14:30 and do a group or individual jigsaw while enjoying a nice cuppa and biscuits with some friendly chatter.

Please donate any extra gifts you have! We're putting together hampers for our raffle ticket stall at the Christmas Fair on 6th December. You could donate anything from food to haircare to clothing! All the money raised from selling raffle tickets for the hampers will go to the Hub and help us support the vulnerable in the Goring community.
Please drop them off at the Hub or get in touch if you need to have anything picked up!
