Calling All Goole Amateur Creatives & Storytellers! 📸🎥

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

As I'm getting the "No One Asked Until Now" project off the ground – a heartfelt initiative dedicated to sharing real, local stories from our community – I know that telling these stories powerfully is a team effort.

With that in mind, I’m putting out a call to action for any amateur photographers, videographers, or anyone in Goole with a passion for camera work, design or being an interviewer who might want to collaborate.

This is a chance to be part of a community-focused project right from the very beginning. In return for your time and talent, we want to make sure you get as much out of this as you put in.

As a collaborating creative, you will get:
Full credit on every piece of work you contribute.
A fantastic opportunity to build your portfolio with meaningful, story-driven content.
A "Meet the Team" spotlight video! We'll film a short feature on YOU, showcasing your skills, your passion, and the brilliant work you're doing for the project, so our community gets to know the talent behind the camera.

The role would be completely voluntary and flexible, helping out with things like filming interviews, grabbing beautiful B-roll shots, sourcing meaningful events and stories around the town or taking powerful photographs to accompany a story.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick heads-up for the Goole community! I'll be out and about in and around town this Saturday (July 12th), and probably a little on Sunday too, with my camera.

I'll be filming the footage for the very first official "No One Asked Until Now" documentary-style video. This one is a bit nerve-wracking as it's the introductory film about me, my personal story, and exactly why I'm so passionate about starting this project for our town.

So, here's the main point of this post:

If you see a bloke who looks slightly lost trying to get a nice shot of a building (that'll be me! 👋), please feel free to come and say hello. I would genuinely love to chat.

You are more than welcome to:

Ask any questions you have about the project.

Find out how you might be able to get involved.

Nominate a local person, charity, or community group that you believe deserves to be featured in a future video.

This project is for Goole, by Goole, and it can only succeed by having real conversations with the people who live here.
