An update on our Community Hub.

The Cottage is almost finished and will soon provide us with extra meeting and office space. The Life & Hope gardens are at planning stage. We have also drawn up the scheme for Toilets in church.

Please do continue to give to our £250,000 target or you can give for the first time, we will be raising funds until December 2027. Or maybe you can do some fundraising like Glen, who is doing a skydive https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/graham-glenwright.

We are currently at 24% of our target, so if you'd like to give then please use https://www.stewardship.org.uk/pages/StJohnsCommunityHub or speak to the office!

Goole is hosting Yorkshire Day 2026, and as part of that there is a civic service in St John’s (Parish) Church. You can find more information and a flavour online, but it’s a very large gathering of Yorkshire’s mayors and royal representatives, and will feature a procession of 130 people! There are limited seats for the public (only 100) but no pre-booking is required.
