Well what a day!! Our friends on the AIDA Sol arrived this morning but the wind gods were being mischievous so for 2 hours we all held our breath ... Will she? Won't she? Just as we all thought it's not possibly happening the Port Pilot and Captain persuaded the wind gods to let them try one last time and it worked!!

We cannot thank everyone enough for their patience, flexibility and huge efforts to make everything happen today, albeit 2 hours later than expected, so HUGE shout out to :

Noswaith da! We hope everyone is enjoying the weather and not melting too much 🫠😜

This morning we welcomed our good friends on Grand Circle's Corinthian. One of the smaller ships to visit us she is one of the few able to come alongside at the port. We were extremely lucky to be invited on for coffee this morning whilst we waited for later passengers to disembark.

Corinthian will be back with us again on Tuesday 🛳 there will also be a lovely Community Market in the town hall on Tuesday!

We also have coming back on Thursday, for their 2nd visit this year, the AIDA Sol 🤩 so we are looking forward to wishing the, potentially, 2500 German passengers Willkommen 😊

At the port on Thursday there will be 16 local producers and crafters as well as the fabulous Fishguard Market in the town hall. The marvellous harpist Eliza Bradbury will greet passengers in the morning and the fabulous Pembrokeshire Pop Voices will be joining us at lunchtime. Along with our award winning Fishguard Friendly Faces and Cruise Wales German Ambassadors, NPCTT's Visit Fishguard & Goodwick will have their town Ambassadors located to ensure all visitors get to see the very best of what our towns have to offer.

We'd also like to introduce you to, as part of our Meet The Team series, Julie & Tim Kirby, two of Fishguard Friendly Faces and a husband & wife team!

Good afternoon, Croeso and Welcome to the Seabourn Ovation for it's 2nd visit to us this season.

Despite being cloudy and overcast this morning, the predominantly American, British and European passengers have come off to a dry port which the sun is now doing it's best to shine!

Some have been on morning excursions to Carew Castle and Tidal Mill and Tenby, Velfrey Vineyard, Melin Tregwynt as well as taking guided walks around St David's Head, Carn Llidi and Pembrokeshire.

Quayside we have had the fabulous local artisan market together with the Crafts, Collectibles and Curios Market in the Town Hall.

The passengers have been thoroughly entertained by the fabulous Alawon Gwaun... most of whom you can hear every Tuesday evening at Folk at The Oak The Royal Oak

We had the absolute pleasure to have the Level 3 Travel and Tourism students from Pembrokeshire College come help the with Welcoming the Oceania Cruises Marina recently. WELCOME BACK Corinthian 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 our old friends are back again this season and despite the wet stuff were in high spirits and looking forward to their day in Pembrokeshire - then lunch with local people followed by The Last Invasion Tapestry and free time in town!

Thank you from the Friendly Faces for warming us up with your delicious hot chocolate late too!
