1st Godstone Scout Group 1st Godstone Scout Group 1st Godstone Scout Group is in the village of Godstone, Surrey and was founded in 1908.

It provides Scouting to over 50 young people boys and girls in three sections Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, which meet on a weekly basis in our Headquarters The Endeavour. If you are new to Scouting and wish to find out more about 1st Godstone, then our website provides plenty of information about us our history and what we do, including how to join. If you or your children are already in the Group, t

hen you should be able to find most things you need including information on your section and some useful resources. If you’re new to the village, the Scout group is a good place to get involved in something that really does make a difference to young lives, building confidence and self esteem. We do this by learning through adventure and fun. Too many children grow up without experiencing real challenge and adventure. Together we can all make a difference through Scouting. We had a fantastic turnout at our AGM and BBQ yesterday! A huge thank you to all the parents, children and volunteers who came along and made it such a great event.

It was wonderful to celebrate so many badge presentations, including a prestigious Gold Chief Scout’s Award. Congratulations to all of our young people on their fantastic achievements – we’re so proud of you all!

We were also delighted to officially invest our new Group Scout Lead and Cubs Leader. Wishing them every success in their new roles.

What is KIX? KIX is an expedition for the Scouts of Surrey to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) in Switzerland.

The last time Godstone Scouts was in Switzerland was back in the 60's, help your local Scout group £5 suggest donation more welcome.
