In memory of Dame Penelope Keith.
Lyn and all of us at Hydestile were so sorry to hear that Penelope passed away on Monday 29th June 2026. She has been a supporter of Hydestile for many years along with her husband Rodney and opened one of our open days at Milford Village Halll a number of years ago. More recently she read a lovely poem called
“Diary of a Church Mouse “ by John Betjeman at Grahams funeral on 21st June 2024. She read it beautifully. We will miss her dropping in from time to time with various items. We hope to still see Rodney, our thoughts are with him and their family at this sad time .
“Some people come into our lives and quickly go,some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same “
