Great to see the Surrey Family Support Team in attendance at SABP HQ as part of our Mindworks Surrey partnership.

We’re proud to be one of the first partners to go live with a shared set of digital tools, improving how we work together and strengthening the support we provide to families and children and young people (CYP) as we move forward.

SEN Swimming UK is on a mission to improve the quality and accessibility of swimming lessons for people with Special Educational Needs.

They are looking for parents of SEN children of all ages to complete their survey:
https://form.typeform.com/to/lCHAw4bN

This short survey aims to understand current swimming experiences, especially where lessons may not fully meet the needs of swimmers with additional needs. The feedback will help highlight gaps in current provision and support the development of better, more inclusive training for swimming teachers.

Partners of the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership, Mindworks, have been busy completing their mandatory Oliver McGowan training 👏

Staff have been building their knowledge around supporting people with learning disabilities and autism, sharing best practice on reasonable adjustments, sensory processing, and the diverse ways autism and learning disabilities can present.

So far, 2 out of 6 sessions are complete, with the remaining sessions scheduled to finish by mid-July.

A great step forward in strengthening inclusive, informed care 💙
