Good morning,
I received this late yesterday and thought I would share albeit at exceedingly late notice. Hello There
We are working with Welsh Government and the National Forest for Wales Liaison team to host a series of engagement and consultation events along a proposed Llwybr Coedwig Cymru Trail - connecting woodlands and National Forest sites from Porthkerry park to (eventually) North Wales.
We are coming to the Glyn Neath Rugby Club - 1st March because the national trail picks up the geo / Cwm Gwrelych trail, and ends the south section of the trail in Glynneath. See map attached. We will be running a pop up consultation event in the bar from 10.30am - 1.30pm with a themed St David's Day woodland craft activity suitable for all ages. We will also be hosting a guided walk along the GEO trail from 11am if you can make it.
We are really keen to talk with local organsiations and community who know the trail and the local area well - and we extend a warm invitation to the members of the Local History society. Please join us if you can, and let us know what you think of the trail, any issues you can foresee and any advice, local knowledge and suggestions.
Please feel free to share these details with anyone you think would be interested. I attach a poster about the event and a pdf map of the wider trail (blue line) as well as the local route to Glynneath.
Please feel free to give me a call if you need more info. 07894 797 903
