THIS FRIDAY - 23 OCTOBER - our speaker this month is Sue Ansell from The Woodland Trust - please come along and learn about how you can create a mini woodland environment in your own garden no matter how small your balcony or garden may be. All welcome - members comprise absolute beginners, and people who just enjoy pottering in their gardens. Enjoy the friendship with like-minded people who are not necessarily into growing competitively, but just love their own green space. Meetings starts at 2.00pm for around an hour - depends on how many questions get asked of our speaker! - but arrive early for complimentary refreshments. We look forward to seeing you.

Our next meeting is THIS Friday 26th June when our guest speaker is Graham Glue from Sleeping Giant Foraging. Graham is passionate about the great outdoors. He is a foraging expert and has many years experience as a qualified walk leader and has been leading foraging walks for 16 years. Graham loves to share his extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of the local area in a fun and informal way.

TRIP TO STOCKTON BURY GARDENS - LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE
Our only trip this year is the Stockton Bury Gardens in Kimbolton near Leominster, on Saturday 11 July. Please note that the garden can only take 25 people and, due to the current situation in the Middle East, we regret that there will be surcharge due to the cost of fuel.
The gardens are wonderfully mature and offer inspiration in the way of unusual plants – you’ll see plants you’ve never seen before. Enjoy the herbaceous borders, Victorian kitchen garden, glasshouse and water garden all with a backdrop of historic farm buildings including a medieval pigeon house and tithe barn. Search for the secret garden or simply sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.
