🐾🎉 Join Us for Monkscrufts! 🎉🐾

We are delighted to invite all friends and family to bring along their four-legged companions for our very own Monkscrufts Dog Show this Friday!

Whether your dog is a playful pup, a golden oldie, or simply loves making new friends, we’d love to see them take part in the fun. There will be plenty of smiles, wagging tails, and opportunities for our residents to meet and spend time with some wonderful canine visitors.

This week, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing volunteers.

Your kindness, compassion, and dedication make a real difference to the lives of our residents every day. Whether you’re spending time chatting, helping with activities, supporting events, or simply bringing a smile to someone’s face, your contribution is truly invaluable.

You enrich our home with your generosity and help create meaningful moments that brighten each day. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and care you give so freely.

From all of our residents, families, and staff, thank you for everything you do. We are proud to celebrate and recognise each and every one of you during Volunteers’ Week and beyond. ❤️

A few more snapshots from our fantastic Monksfest celebrations! ☀️🎉

From dancing and singing along to DJ Sparky’s fantastic music to enjoying a delicious BBQ in the sunshine, there were smiles all around. 😊🎶🍔

It was lovely to see residents, families, and team members coming together to enjoy the celebrations and make special memories.

A special thank you to our volunteer, Terry, for capturing these wonderful photographs and helping us preserve such happy memories from the day. 📸❤️

A big thank you to everyone who supported our Time for a Cuppa cake table in aid of Dementia UK ☕🧁

Thanks to the generosity of our visitors, residents, families, and staff, we raised an amazing £144.81 for this wonderful cause.

We really appreciate everyone who stopped by, bought a cake, and helped support families affected by dementia. 💙

Today, on International Nurses Day, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of the incredible nurses at Monkscroft 💙

Your compassion, dedication, kindness and professionalism make such a difference every single day to the lives of our residents, their families and your colleagues. From providing expert care to offering comfort, reassurance and a friendly smile, you truly are at the heart of everything we do.

We are so proud to celebrate and recognise each and every one of you today. Thank you for all that you do.

🇬🇧✨ We had a wonderful morning at Monkscroft celebrating VE Day with the fantastic Mini Concerts D-Day Dollies!

The lovely Beth entertained everyone with some much-loved classics from Vera Lynn, Doris Day and more. Residents thoroughly enjoyed singing along, clapping, and reminiscing to the timeless songs. 🎶❤️

It was such a joyful atmosphere filled with smiles, music, and happy memories as we marked this special occasion together. Thank you Beth for such a lovely performance! 🌹

We had a very special visitor at our home this afternoon 🐶🐾

Debs and her lovely dog Bernie from Cheltenham Animal Shelter came in to spend some time with our residents, and what a joy it was! Bernie was incredibly calm and gentle, instantly putting everyone at ease.

Our residents absolutely loved giving him cuddles, and he soaked up every bit of attention. At one point, Bernie even snuggled himself into a resident’s bed for some extra cosy cuddles, it was such a heartwarming moment that brought plenty of smiles all around ❤️

Visits like these are so important, as spending time with animals can help reduce stress, and bring comfort and companionship to our residents. Moments like this can truly lift spirits and create meaningful connections.

A big thank you to Debs and Bernie for brightening our day, we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 🐶🐾
