This evening, he is in London at the House of Commons, proudly representing our VCSE community following our nomination for an OpenUK Community Award.
Tonight, we’re celebrating the digital equity work happening across communities in Gloucestershire. This work supports local people and small organisations with the tools, skills, and confidence they need to grow and succeed. Through GRCC's DAISI team and open-source ways of working, this is creating real opportunity, connection, and local impact.
Open-source is about sharing, fairness, and working together. It helps people and community groups save money, build local skills, work more independently, and create solutions that fit their needs.
Whatever the outcome tonight, this recognition belongs to every community group, volunteer, and organisation working to make digital access fairer, more confident, and more meaningful for everyone.
