A heartfelt thank you to Tesco Brockworth and Asda Cheltenham for their incredible hampers. These were donated for Honeybourne's 20th anniversary celebration on the 21st September. Current and past patients, carers, families and colleagues came together to celebrate this remarkable milestone 🎉💕

Last week saw nearly 7,500 people run Cheltenham half marathon, including 3 of our colleagues🏃‍♀️ If their determination has sparked a fire within you, we've got great news: we still have spots available for the Gloucester half marathon 2027 on 21st March. Sign up below ⬇

Huge congratulations to our incredible three runners who smashed their first half marathon and raised a phenomenal £1106 for GHC Charity! For some of them this was their first time running a half marathon and think you will agree, they have raised a fantastic amount. It will make a huge difference to our patients and colleagues. Gloucestershire Lifestyle Opportunity and Wellbeing Service (GLOW) applied to GHC Charity for funds to help with "glowfest". This event took place at Westonbirt Arboretum, for families and young people that are supported by their service. This empowering event enabled attendees to discover new skills, adopt healthier habits, and unwind with exciting activities like arts and crafts and tree climbing. 🌳 The feedback speaks for itself:

"I absolutely enjoyed doing the workshop activities and going on the trail, also seeing a bamboo tree. Beautiful place for a family day out, lovely scenery."

"Amazing day. Nature was relaxing, getting out and about picks up everybody's mood, such a perfect day".

This is one of many ways we can help our patients with experiences that are outside of the core funding of the NHS but have a positive impact on their lives.

In just over 2 weeks, 3 colleagues from GHC are taking on the Cheltenham half marathon to fuel life-changing impact for our charity! 🏃‍♀️

Through the generosity of thousands of people over the years, those in our care have benefited from additional resources, enhanced patient care and improved therapeutic environments. Charitable Funds are also used for staff welfare and improving the working and learning environments throughout the Trust. These benefits could not be offered without your generosity.
