We are looking for young people who would like to try weightlifting. Age range from age 7-10 and 11 to 16
We support youth training and development by coaching young people good solid technique and helping them to build the foundations for weightlifting.

Also encouraging each of them to continue to use good form as they grow.

BENEFITS:
Increase your child's muscle strength and endurance
Help improve your child's performance in nearly any sport, from swimming, netball to football and rugby
Also builds confidence and supports mental well-being.

Youth Weightlifting OFFERS an opportunity for child to learn the movements  of Weightlifting /Olympic Lifting.

This can be achieved by using a wooden dowel or PVC piping to start with.
We ensure each child is technically sound before moving onto a light childrens training bars.

Weightlifting is often thought of as dangerous or just lifting heavy weights!

For our club its about :

🏋️‍♀️Consistently practicing the technique,
🏋️‍♂️healthy body mechanics, confidence,
🏋️‍♀️Strength, speed, agility, and balance.
🏋️‍♀️training with peers and making friends

Weightlifting can build strength, flexibility and stability for all different sports!

We aim to ensure all the above will help and support your child within any sport they decide to do.

Classes are coached by a British Weight Lifting level 2 licenced coach and has Pediatric First Aid, Safeguardimg , DBS check.

We are looking for children that would like to get involved and be part of our youth academy.

Our Youth Academy was set up in 2018 to provide the best opportunities for children to get into strength training, whether they are interested in complimenting their chosen sport or to explore the sport of Weightlifting.

We are passionate about child first coaching and work with many young people to develop a lifelong interest in all things health, fitness and wellbeing.

We run classes almost every day and through the school holidays.

Our coaches have first hand experience of supporting and working with young children.

Working with a range of young people of varies ages and abilities.

International Women's Day 2025 will have the theme "For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment

We will be running a beginners ladies only lifting Course 🏋️

We are offering a 4-week Adult Beginners Course on Wednesday evenings 6.30pm -7.30pm £30

This course will be perfect for you if you're a complete beginner.
We will coach and support you to achieve the correct and safe technique to start you off on your weightlifting journey.
