What a fantastic ABBA mini concerts we had at Windsor! 🎶🕺💃

A huge thank you to the amazing Shelly’s Awesome entertainment for bringing the magic of ABBA to our home! Our residents had a wonderful time singing along, clapping, dancing and enjoying all those unforgettable hits!

Great music, happy faces and lots of lovely memories. Who can resist a bit of Dancing Queen? 💃✨

Coffee Day at Windsor Street! ☕🍰 We enjoyed trying different coffee varieties and flavours, and the winner was… Italian coffee strength 7 with salted caramel syrup! 😋 Naturally, we paired our coffees with Windsor’s famous cakes. A lovely chance to sit together, chat and enjoy something sweet. 💛

🎨🖌️ Our residents always enjoy Art Club! From drawing and painting to knitting and colouring, everyone is free to get creative and choose whatever they fancy. Art is a wonderful way to stimulate the mind, encourage self-expression and keep those creative juices flowing! Most importantly, it's about having fun, enjoying each other's company and spending a lovely time together. ❤️

🎨 Celebrating Art in Care Homes Day! 🎨

What a wonderfully creative and sociable day we've had! Our residents enjoyed exploring colours and textures during our art session, creating some lovely artwork. We were also delighted to welcome physiotherapy students Jemima, Harry and Alex from the University of Gloucestershire, who spent the whole day with us! They started the morning with stretching exercises, joined our residents for the art session and helped with our afternoon bingo. They were definitely the highlight of the day! ❤️ A huge thank you to all three for bringing so much energy, kindness and enthusiasm. We loved having you with us!

As we close Professional Care Workers’ Week on Sunday, we want to say one more heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff. 💙 This week ended with some lovely photos of our team receiving their little Care Survival Kits, filled with coffee, tea, hand cream and lip balm — a small treat for people who give so much every day. We also shared a very special voice recording of thanks from our residents, which made the moment even more meaningful. Thank you to all our staff, and to everyone behind the scenes, for your kindness, compassion and hard work every single day.

We’re still celebrating Professional Care Workers’ Week! 💙 Today we had a little lucky dip with lots of pampering treats for our wonderful staff, and each household also received an extra sugar delivery with everyone’s favourite doughnuts and sweet treats. 🍩 A small way to say thank you and show how much we appreciate everything our team does every day.

During Professional Care Workers’ Week 2026, we want to say a huge thank you to all our amazing staff and everyone working behind the scenes. From our care teams, nurses, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, administration, activities and every department in between — every role matters and every person helps make a difference. We also want to recognise the wider healthcare community and everyone who gives their time, care and compassion to support others every single day.
