AMBER HEAT WARNING

Gloucestershire will be under an Amber Heat warning on Monday and Tuesday, with continual high temperatures all week.

It has been agreed in some offices that staff can start early tomorrow morning. Unfortunately some managers have refused in other offices, an issue we shall an escualte, as their flippant attitude to our members health and saftey is shameful.

During these high temperatures please remember the following:

- drink plenty of water.
- wear a wide brimmed hat and suncream
- take your breaks. If you need the toilet or more water take your break back at the office.
- if you feel poorly or showing any signs of heat exhaustion stop immediately and inform your manager
- accept you'll be working slower than normal and let your manager know what work you'll be unable to complete

We will make sure every office runs the 'Severe Weather Tool' throughout the week.
