We provide emergency bundles to families in crisis on a referral only basis. Items accepted include clothes, toiletries.

toys, books and equipment i.e. cots, prams, sterilisers, bedding etc. Please see our page for up to,date information of the do actions we currently require.

We would like to Thank The Gloucestershire Centre of the Caravan and Motorhome Club for choosing our charity to support over the last year.
They raised a fantastic amount of money and organised a donation drop to us 💕

It really makes all the difference to our small charity when you raise vital funds for us.
You really are changing lives!

We want to say a Massive Thank You to Primark Gloucester who got in touch to say they had £500 pounds to gift to us!
We knew straight away what we needed the most.......with the temperature about to drop it had to be warm winter coats in the sizes we are low on.
Here they all are in the picture after being delivered to our unit.

And that's not the only thing.........
We've heard that they’re going to support us again this year at Christmas like they have for the past couple of years.
This is amazing news for us and we can't Thank them enough.
Look out for their Giving Tree going up in store in November, ready for you all to pick a tag to support us this Christmas.
We know lots of you like getting involved this way.
Let us know below if you’ll be collecting a tag once their tree is up.

We really do appreciate local businesses/companies getting involved with our charity, making a difference in the community and giving back 💕

The next donation event date has been set!
Hope you can all make it 💕

It's Saturday 17th of October 10am -12 noon at our unit in Quedgeley
Unit 2, Whitworth Court, Baird Road Waterwells Gloucester GL2 2DG

And we will be taking the following items either pre-loved or new.

*Clothes and shoes
All clothing 0-16years
This includes...
Sleepwear 0-16years
Coats 0-16years
Teenwear small adult sizes appropriate for teens (no bigger than ladies size 10 and medium mens please)
Maternity clothes
New socks and pants (we don't take pre-loved of these items)
Hats, gloves, scarves
All footwear up to adult size 9
Knitted items/handmade clothes

*Equipment
Slings ( no wraps)
Electric Sterilisers
Breast pumps
Pushchairs from Newborn ( no car seats )
Strollers
Double Pushchairs
Cots 120x60cm ( no mattresses)
Cotbeds 140x70cm (no mattresses)
Toddler beds 140x70cm (no mattresses)

*Bedding
sleeping bags for babies
Fitted sheets for moses baskets, cots, cotbeds, toddler beds and single beds
Cellular blankets for moses baskets and cots/cotbeds
Blankets for moses baskets, cots, cotbeds
Toddler/cotbed duvet cover sets
Knitted, handmade blankets
Single children’s duvet covers with pillow case

We don't take duvet or pillows unless brand new ( only singles )

*Toiletries
All baby, children's and adults new Toiletries
Unopened nappies and pull-ups
Any new gifts/toiletry sets suitable for raffle prizes/tombolas

Such a busy day in the unit today!
So many referrals leaving the unit......
Can you spot your fantastic donation going to it's new home?

Also a visit from The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Gloucester, Adrian Graham, who took office in May 26 as the 546th holder of the historic civic role, and the Mayoress, Kirsty Graham.
Adrian and Kirsty are such lovely people with their own lived experience totally understanding the great need for our charity. They were really interested in finding out what we do, how we work and how people can refer to us. 💕
Thank you Adrian and Kirsty for taking the time to visit and listen.

And last, but not least, we're making major progress in sorting from our last event.....you can now see a lot more of the floor!

We're getting there!

Toys and Books always take a little longer for us to sort and get away.
Dates for our next clothes donation event will be set very soon.
We're hopefully looking at end of October/start of November
But we will confirm as soon as we can.

We're also thinking about our Christmas campaign.....we can't believe how fast this year has flown by.

We hope to see you all on Saturday 💕
Ready to donate your Toys and Books

Here's all the details......
Saturday 5th of September 1-3pm
At our Unit- Unit 2, Whitworth Court, Baird Road Waterwells Gloucester GL2 2DG

We will be taking all Toys and Books for age 0-16 years

*Pre-loved items and New
*Soft Toys
*Play mats /sit in rings
* Dressing up items
* Children’s rucksacks

Please remember at this event it's only Toys and Books we will be taking - Please don't ask our volunteers to take any other items.

All items need to be in a good, clean condition, ready to be passed on to a family, Have no broken parts and include all the pieces.
All items need to work - Batteries can be left in Toys

Our roller door will be open, with travel cots up outside for you to place your donations into.
All donations need to be bagged or boxed 📦

Ball pools / Ball pool balls
Bikes
Scooters
Large sit on ride Toys
Outside/garden toys
Large kitchens / Mud kitchens

Can you imagine your child not having a single toy or book at home 😢
Because we certainly can't!
We're receiving referrals with write ups stating that no toys or books can be seen in the family home or the child/children have only a couple toys or the toys they do have aren't age appropriate and they have outgrown them.
We totally understand, with the raising cost of rent and food, why families can't always afford toys and books through no fault of their own.

We feel toys and books are essential to a child's development, building motor skills, encouraging problem-solving, inspiring imagination, teaches social skills, expands language and fosters a love for learning.

We take in your outgrown toys and books and make sure we find them a new home where they're needed the most. 💕

Soft Toys, Dressing up clothes, Play mats and Children’s rucksacks.
We can't take any jumperoos, sit in walkers, door bouncers, bikes, scooters, outside/garden toys, large kitchens/mud kitchens, large sit on rides, ball pools/ball pool balls.

We have been overwhelmed with support for our latest Newborn plea, and we want to express our Thanks to each and every one of you.
Your kindness and generosity is unbelievable.

We have received hundreds and hundreds of messages, and we’re really sorry if we have missed any.
If you've booked to drop off items from the plea in the next week, we look forward to seeing you.
If you've sent us a message and we have replied to you and you’re just about to get back to us about dropping, please be aware this can only be in the next week and will need to be arranged prior to dropping.
Unfortunately for any new enquiries about the newborn plea, we will be asking you kindly to hold on to your items until we can take them again as we're pausing to get ready for our Toy and Book Donation on September 5th 1-3pm at our unit in Quedgeley.
