Friends of The Dean We are a registered charity, number 1198515. The unit focuses on rehabilitation, ensuring that the residents can live to their fullest ability.

We are a group of residents and family members whose mission it is to raise money to fund activities for the benefit and well-being of the residents at The Dean Neurological Centre in Gloucester. The Dean Neurological Centre cares for people from 18 to 100 years old who have a wide range of conditions affecting their neurological function; from brain injuries after road accidents, Parkinson's disease, through to multiple sclerosis and stroke.

Jo Woodward, Julie Haynes, and Timothy Griffin braved the scorching heat to complete the Roll With Me challenge over to Plock Court playing fields, and then onto Oxstalls sports arena for a much needed drink! Sunscreen and umbrellas were also in order.

Our thanks to Alex Stevens for entertaining residents, visitors, and staff at the Dean yesterday. There were some great songs, and plenty of dancing.

Our raffle table is beginning to take shape. By the draw date, Thursday 23rd July, during the resident’s summer party, it will feature more prizes.

As we’ve mentioned before, we would be grateful for any prize donations.

We have a raffle taking place during the resident’s summer party on Thursday 23rd July. The prizes are slowly growing in number, and we would be very grateful for any donations to make the raffle even better.
