OCTOBER HALF TERM 2026

Our regular inclusive cycling sessions for all ages (3 to 103) and abilities continue throughout half term 😊….

Sunday 25th - 2 to 4pm Belmont School

Monday 26th - 10.30am to 1pm Blackbridge Jubilee Athletics track Gloucester GL1 5TX

Tuesday 27th - 10.30am to 1pm Blackbridge Athletics track - 10.30am to 1pm

Wednesday 28th - 10.30am to 1pm Forest of Dean Cycle Centre 🌳🚲 (Booking is necessary for this session 07393 867572)

THURSDAY 29th - 10am to 3pm 10 YEARS CELEBRATION of Inclusive Cycling and Frame Running at Blackbridge Athletics track 🥳
Tomcat Trikes will be demonstrating their fleet and there will be hot food and drinks available to buy….

That was a Happy Thursday 😎🚲👍 and a busy one too 😊 !!!

Not much time for taking photos today
But plenty of time for …
Lots of laps to be cycled …….. (62 laps for super Sarah today!!)
Lots of different bikes to be tried …. (Sarah tried all the different bikes that we have today: recumbent and upright trikes, tandem and hand cycle 😊🚲)
Lots of happy waves 👋 as cyclists passed the seating area
Lots of thumbs up 👍!!
Lots of smiles 😎
Lots of bike seat adjustments as our brilliant volunteers made sure that seats were correctly positioned for all the various heights and therefore leg lengths of our cyclists 🦵 🦵 😊
Lots of helmets put on and taken off 😊

Thank you to everyone for coming today and the staff who support you, and our volunteers who welcome you and keep everything flowing smoothly for all of us 😎👍🚲

This Sunday 18th October we will be at Belmont School in Cheltenham from 2 to 4pm.
We’ll be back at Blackbridge athletics track in Gloucester on Monday 19th October at 10.30am

Frame Running Giants Gloucestershire will be taking over the track just as we finish tomorrow 😊 so if you come to Blackbridge at midday ish, you’ll be able to have a warm up cycle ride before your run 😊🚲 🏃🏻

After a gloomy wet start, look at this sunshine now! 😎 😊
All ready to pedal and roll 🚲 at Blackbridge Athletics track on a bright Tuesday morning….

These sessions are open to anyone who is unable to cycle but would love to try …. There’s no pressure or judgment or expectation, just come and have a try with friends, family or support buddies.
If you’re in your own, one of our lovely volunteers will cycle with you on a twin bike, until you feel ready to try cycling on your own 😊

Yesterday’s session at Belmont School was one of our busiest there! 😎🚲

Sue and Luigi from Leonard Cheshire Gloucestershire House were in their element again, 😊 making the most of the beautiful weather 🚲😎 and enjoying being out in the fresh air and getting lots of exercise 🚲😎

The revised set up with the new fences, kept the volunteers busy!

Today at Blackbridge it was another Happy Monday 😊 🚲

In spite of the drizzly rain, participants seemed to be on a mission, to get as many laps cycled as they could 😊 and our amazing volunteers were again kept busy supporting all the keen cyclists 👍🚲

Trying a new activity can be a big deal for lots of children and young people.

Where do we go?
What's going to happen?
Who's going to be there?
Will they understand me?
Will I be able to take part?

A few small things can make a huge difference to how welcome and comfortable someone feels.

Inclusion Needs You helps the people running activities understand those barriers and think about what they can do differently.
