We really enjoyed singing at Glossop Market Hall on Tuesday. Thank you to all the generous souls that donated to Parkinsons UK. Please find the link to our Just Giving page in the comments

We’ll be busking under the arches at the new Market Hall tomorrow at noon, continuing our fundraising for Parkinson’s UK. We’d love it if you’d come and say hello.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

And we have done it! Wherever they are, whatever they are doing, they’ve logged their collective miles and have covered a virtual walking route from John O Groats to Lands End with a massive 977 miles done and dusted. Incredible. So what now? Stop? Absolutely not. Let’s continue on into Europe and keep pounding the pavements all in aid of Parkinson’s UK. If you can spare a pound or two to donate, please find the link in the comments.

We didn’t manage our usual Tuesday walk due to torrential rain but the choir is still clocking up the miles individually. Virtually we have made it to Bristol Airport, a collective 742 miles so far. Many thanks to everyone who has donated so far. Due to your generosity we have just passed our original target of £500. It will spur us on to new targets.

A huge thank you to the 33 wonderful people that have donated to our Just Giving page in aid of Parkinson’s UK. We are just £2 away from our £500 target in only a matter of weeks. That is incredible. We will of course keep going until our concert on 4th July but for now, many thanks

We continued our collective walk around Swineshaw reservoir this week. We virtually made it to Gretna Green and continued on the A74 crossing into England and making it to Carlisle. By Sunday 3rd May we had covered 428.41 miles, approx half way to Lands End!
If you would like to spur us on a little further, please find the link to Parkinsons UK in the comments.

We have been collating our mileage for our imaginary John O’Groats to Lands End walk. We’ve added together walks around Lyme Park, jaunts around reservoirs, loops around allotments and even trotting on a treadmill.

All in all by Saturday evening we’d done 90.93 miles and made it on our virtual trip to Tain, home of Glenmorangie Whisky Distillery. An update by Monday evening found us passing through Inverness and arriving in Aviemore. We’re doing pretty well I think. We were out after choir again, notching up a few extra miles in our beloved Glossop, all in aid of Parkinson’s UK. Please consider donating, if you are able. Link is in the comments. Thank you.

Zephyr Choir started on 2018. We meet for our mutual well-being, but this year we thought we would spread the love and do some fundraising for Parkinson's a particularly cruel disease affecting several of our members. Ultimately, we will put on a concert, but in the mean-time, if you feel it is a worthy cause and you are able to, please donate. We will keep you informed of all our activities and where we are up to. Thank you so much.
