Unfortunately, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel next weekend’s market at Distant Hills Brewery.

Due to a number of trader cancellations, we are no longer able to cover the costs of running the event.

We know many of you were looking forward to it, and we’re so sorry for the disappointment. Thank you for all of your support, and we hope to see you at one of our future markets soon. ❤️

Today we made our donation to Whaley Bridge Food Bank 💛
This wouldn’t have been possible without YOUR generosity, so from the bottom of our hearts — thank you. Every purchase, every visit, every bit of support at our markets helps us give back to the community that supports us.
A HUGE thank you as well to Tesco in Whaley Bridge for their kindness and support — they helped us add some much-needed items to our big shop, which will make such a difference.

Thank you so much to all our wonderful visitors (bar one – see below!) and our fabulous makers for making today such a great event 💛

We’ll be back tomorrow from 10am–3pm!

Entry is FREE, and donations are completely optional. Our market is run by volunteers for our makers and the High Peak community. Funds raised from the market and door donations will go towards providing much-needed support to Whaley Bridge Food Bank.
As a collective, we dedicate a huge amount of time and effort to bringing these markets to communities across the High Peak, showcasing amazing products and bringing together some truly fantastic people.

On a more serious note – to the individual (who will remain unnamed) who chose to complain about a donation his wife made, shout abuse at a 15-year-old volunteer to the point of making her cry (all captured on CCTV), and then post about it on Facebook — we invite you to return tomorrow and offer an apology.

Please remember: abuse of any kind will not be tolerated at our markets, and anyone behaving in this way will be asked to leave.
