The Glenrothes Men's Shed The purpose of the organisation is to provide recreational facilities and advance the social needs, health and well-being of men and women in Glenrothes.

Scottish Charity no. SC047101 We’re just a bunch or ordinary folk, mostly retired, who like to get together because we have nothing else to do! Sometimes we just sit and chat, other times we do a bit of woodwork, DIY, computer stuff or just watch a video. The most important time we have is our Tea Break - when everyone sits at our large table and joins in the conversation that could be on any topi

c, or just setting the world to rights in our own way! We don’t have any employees, staff, instructors or support workers - so what ever you want to do when you get here will be totally up to you. There's always a friendly face and willing hands if you need help with your chosen activity. We're open 5 days a week - so pop along any morning to see if what we do is what you are looking for!

It's Men's Health Week!

To mark Men's Health Week, the SMSA is facilitating Shed Open Doors Week, giving communities the chance to visit participating Sheds, meet local Shedders, and see first-hand the positive difference Men's Sheds make to men's lives.

Thank you to everyone who came along today to our very successful Spring Fayre.

The raffle has been drawn and the winners were a close thing - literally as Jim Close won the star prize of the rocking chair.

Then Jim only went and won the 3rd prize - a really nice bottle of malt whisky, to sip while he’s rocking himself in the chair.

Liz Miller won the 2nd prize of a free standing bird table. While Gillian is coming into collect the beautiful wooden bowl.

All winners have been contacted.
