❤️❤️Thank You for 20+ Incredible Years ❤️❤️

As of April 1st, 2025, we have sadly closed our doors and will be no more.
It has been an absolute privilege to work with our communities, volunteers, and supporters over the past 20+ years.
Together, we’ve made a real difference, and we are so grateful for every person who has been part of this journey.
While this chapter has come to an end, the impact of our work—and the passion of those involved—will continue in many ways.
We're hoping that each and every one of you who have been involved in the charity take something positive into you're lives and hold the same memories with fondness like us.
We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has supported us and wish you all the very best for the future.
With all our love,
The Staff at The Volunteer Network and of course Max & Roo

We've officially passed the last week mark here at the charity 😢
Next Monday will be the last day we have the office (everything is nearly gone and we will be preping the building to hand back to our lovely landlords).
However if any of you want to say goodbye or see our faces one last time in connection to TVN (not including the odd days Sue and Scott will be doing at The Avalon Allsorts we will be at the allotment on the 1st of April from 10am-1pm for some sharing of memories, hot dogs and sun 😊

Can anyone make use of any Polly pockets or empty folders?
We have thousands!
And we have under 2 weeks to get rid before we have to bin them.
If you want some just message us and we can leave them in a collectable location if you can't make it during out open times to collect.

It is with great regret that we announce the closure of The Volunteer Network at the end of March 2025, due to a lack of funding.

On behalf of the trustees, staff, and key volunteers, it has been a real privilege to work with everyone over the years. This decision has not been made lightly, and if there had been a way to continue, we would have taken it.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to our volunteers, supporters, partners, and the wider community. Your dedication and generosity have made a lasting impact, and we are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together.

The good news is that the allotments will continue to run under the guidance of The Avalon Allsorts group who meet at the office Wed 12-3pm. They will remain open for people to join, grow food, meet others, and have fun during the week.

In the coming weeks, we will focus on ensuring a smooth transition, including supporting those who rely on our services and working with partner organizations to continue elements of our work where possible.

Thank you for being part of our journey ❤️
