The Pantry will be closed from Tue 4 August 2026 and will reopen on Wed 19th August 2026.
Thank you to everyone who uses the Pantry as it wouldnt be a community Pantry without you all.

The Potatoes available at the Gorbals Pantry are from the first crop of the Gorbals Grows project this year at Riverside, just a few yards from the Pantry.
What an amazing achievement.
If you want to try some for yourself, come on over to the pantry today - 5-7pm and get them as part of your shop.

The Gorbals Food Pantry truly appreciates your feedback and every comment, observation, suggestion and critique is considered, well it wouldnt be a Communtity led pantry if the communtiy were not invovled in the dicussions.
Feedback suggests that there could be some tweaks to the shopping items, and to help make the experience flow better..
So, with all that in mind, the pantry will incorporate a newer and better flowing shopping experience starting August 18th - same time and same costs just a some key tweaks...

Also the Pantry will be closed for the first two weeks in August to allow the changes to happen and for the fabulous Volunteers to have a break.
