Week 3 of Feel Well from Glasgow Museums was all about Tenement Living. We explored original objects from tenements such as a millinery iron, wally dugs, door plates and even a bug spray! We then enjoyed making our own lino print tiles inspired by the beautiful close tiles from tenements.

Katy from the museums gently guided us through the making asking us to make tiles based on how we feel or want to feel in the places we live. These are the beautiful results!

Next week will be objects to do with folklore and Scottish myths. Come along 10-12 for a relaxed, creative session ☺️

People always ask us where the arts hub is, so today we asked our little artists (and their grown-ups) to help us make a sign. They did a great job of working together with paints to make a colourful and creative background for our name!

As well as having all this fun with paints our 0-5 art club can draw, build, read, dress up and have lots of fun in imaginative play.

Join us every Tuesday 12:30-2:30pm!
