Eid Mubarak from Mosspark Parent Council 🌙 ✨ We are hosting a Bake Sale on Thursday 26th March at 2.45pm to celebrate Eid. We welcome any home baking or store bought cakes from Mosspark families - no nuts please. We will be accepting cash and card payments on the day - monies raised go towards school events and resources. Thank you for your continued support 💛

Go on, join us! We are looking for more parents and carers to help us to run events / fundraise for the school and nursery class. We really need more people to join so that we have a group of PVG checked helpers for school trips (particularly the upcoming Go Yellow walk on Wednesday 27th May) and to help at school discos.
Having more members will mean we can continue to fundraise for the annual pantomime performance, reindeer visit, leavers hoodies and school resources. Please get in touch if you're interested in connecting with other parents and showing the school a bit of love.

We’re not done spoiling your kids after finishing last week’s library refurb. The playground now features 4 brand new basketball hoops, replacing all the previous trashed ones. This is top of the list for a lot of kids based on the feedback we get, so there should be something for everybody this week.

Just in time for World Literacy Week, our kids now have a brand new library space to study, relax and play. 2001 Carole Smiley herself would be proud!

New playground equipment is next on the list.

This has taken a huge amount of effort from a load of people and donations from the community to make happen. A huge thanks to everybody who helped. We also used £208 of community funding to remove the desktops (as we're not allowed to alter the building ourselves).

Thanks again to Furnishr Glasgow for the couch and bean bags and Dr Zubir Ahmed MP and the folk from his office.

We’d like to thank all who were involved in our Paint The Library Day yesterday. Special mention to Nikki (Millie and Jessica’s mum) who was unstoppable with her paint roller, what she accomplished was incredible.

Dr Zubir Ahmed MP and his team Heather, Abdur and Zevon came along and got stuck right into the project.

We’d also like to thank the following people for getting involved: Arwen (chair of Mosspark/Corkerhill Community Council), Hannah (Emer’s mum), ex-pupil Martha and her dad Michael.

We had a donation of juice and crisps from local resident Rob Scotland

We have fully committed to this project- books and furniture were moved on Friday! All we need now is your help! We can only accept parent/carer/community help on Wednesday 18th February due to safeguarding as the children are not there (it’s an In Service Day). We would really appreciate all the help we can get, there are only a few of us on the Parent Council 🙏🏻 please message us or email [email protected] for more info
