WHW4Cancer The Team is back with a new challenge.

April 2026 we will walk The West Highland Way in Scotland to raise funds to support Ryan Lawreson who is dianognosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare aggressive type of bone cancer.

Hi all.......some amazing news recieved today.

The cardfactoryfoundation have donated towards our fund raising by sending a further £5000.00 to the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

This is amazing news for us who are already really greatful about the funds raised on the WHW walk.

This new donation now takes our total raised funds to £25,813.

Totally blown away 😁♥️

A big thank you to Jayne Wetton who put the nomination in for us and spread the word. X 🥰

Oh what an emotional speech by Disco Dave 💕

Ryan was presented the cheque that was raised for him and Dave being his Grandad was exceptionally grateful to all the Haydock Community especially those involved at Haydock Reading & Debating Society. The support is off the charts !

So all that said and with so much pride we was able to present £15,000 to Ryan X 💗🍻🙌

Total Raised was a magnificent £20, 500 which is unbelievable 👏

Thank you to everyone who took part, supported the team, Sponsored the team and donated prizes and funds.

Total Raised will soon be announced on here.

As an idea of the funds, the just giving page reached £9610.00 and after fees we drew £9203.66.

To add on is all the cash raised via the charity night at Haydock Reading & Debating Society , football cards, cash donations and also the teams individual funds raised elsewhere.

The support we have been getting is unreal and beyond our expectations. Special thanks to our community based at the Haydock Reading & Debating Society for the support and generosity 🙏🙌

But.........we smashed our £9500 target on just giving and have 2 days left before the page expires. (NO MORE PESTERING LOL)......So a challenge for all you all is to share this post as far as possible and see if we can get closer to 10k.........what you recon ?
