🌻 Sunflower Planting workshop, by Spell

We paired up with lovely team at Spell again today, where our Little Locals were treated to a sunflower planning workshop! It was brilliant! The kids, mostly aged 2-5, participated in the workshop - and even got to take home their little sunflower pot!! 💜

We’d love to see how they grow, please tag us in any growth you might spot in your sunflower pot!

We always love a Spell session, and today we were super impressed when all the boys and girls sat around calmly, with excellent listening skills, at the end for story time! 📚

Our community is growing!! 😆💜

We love that our community is growing and we’ve grown so much that - for the first time EVER - we’re introducing a limit! 😲

We’re certainly not always full, but ahead of the bank holiday session, and with some exciting sessions coming up, this is just a way for us manage our capacity! 🧸

We don’t predict this will cause much upset as we’re roughly at this number every other week, but hopefully it will work for everyone 💜

Here are the last dates for our 1st ever full term at Little Locals, 2025-2026! 🥳 We have some fun sessions planned and hope to even get outside into the beautiful community centre garden for some of our final weeks. After the summer break we begin our 2nd term, August 2026 - June 2027!! 💜

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our bank holiday Monday and hope you have too! We’ll be back next week, Monday 11th May. The plan is to finish towards end of June and return in August, when Little Locals turns 1! 💜

Thanks to all of our families and local businesses who participated in the Spring Raffle, we raised enough money to pay for our insurance for another year! 🧸

Like any busy space, things occasionally need a little maintenance, and we’d love to connect with local businesses who can help us when needed.
We’re putting together a directory of local services — so if you’re a plumber, electrician, gardener, cleaner, or offer any service a community centre might need, please share your details in the comments below.
